The Gordon B. Lankton gallery is the Museum’s main gallery, located on the second level. This gallery features highlights from one of the largest private collections of Slavic icons outside of Eastern Europe.

These icons range from the fifteenth century to the nineteenth century and testify to the history of Slavic icon painting from the Fall of the Byzantine Empire in 1453 to the Russian Revolution in 1917.
