Enjoy a glass of wine with fellow Museum members and a gallery tour with Curator Justin Willson as we delve into the fascinating world of the printed icon. \nThrough works from the Balkans\, Eastern Europe\, and Russia\, you’ll see how traditional techniques were adapted for printing\, and how Western printing methods influenced the development of icon painting itself. By examining the materials\, processes\, and cultural contexts\, Printing Icons sheds light on the complex relationship between tradition and innovation. \nThis exhibit is supported in part by the International Center of Medieval Art and the Samuel H.
